Mitch Reputation — A Real Reputation System for XenForo

Mitch Reputation goes further.


This add-on introduces a powerful, explainable, and extensible reputation engine built entirely on XenForo core data — no third-party dependencies, no black-box scoring.


Instead of a single opaque number, Mitch Reputation calculates reputation from multiple activity sources, applies intelligent scaling, assigns visible tiers, and keeps a full history of how each user’s reputation changes over time.



How reputation is calculated

Reputation is calculated automatically using a weighted combination of core XenForo signals:


Reactions received
Message count (with diminishing returns)
Days registered (with diminishing returns)
Trophy points
Warning points (penalty)
Manual admin adjustments

Each source can be enabled, scaled, capped, or disabled entirely.

Reputation tiers

Users are automatically assigned a reputation tier based on their score:

Users can view a full reputation history timeline, showing:

Which source caused it
How the total score was affected
