By default, XenForo has only allowed users to choose one prefix per topic. This has created significant limitations for classified ad forums, resource sharing sites, or sections requiring complex post categorization (e.g., [Selling source code] + [Discount] + [XenForo 2.3]).



To completely solve this problem, VNXF introduces the [VNXF] Multi Prefix Add-on – a groundbreaking solution that breaks through the limitations of topic categorization on XenForo 2.3+.

1. Multi -Select Prefix: Users can select and combine multiple prefixes simultaneously when creating or editing threads. The Prefix Menu automatically remains open until the user has made their selection.
2. Maximum Prefix Limit: In AdminCP, you can easily limit the "Maximum number of prefixes that can be selected for a post" (e.g., only allow a maximum of 3 tags). The system will block and warn the user directly on the post creation interface if the allowed number is exceeded.
3. Highly Precise Filtering (Independent Prefix Filtering): Each prefix displayed on the thread list acts as an independent filter. When you hover over or click on any prefix, the system will filter out all posts containing that prefix, ensuring no overlapping links.

The installation process is extremely simple and straightforward:

2. Go to AdminCP > Add-ons > Install/upgrade from archive .
3. Select the downloaded zip file and click install. (Alternatively, you can extract the zip file from the upload folder to the forum's root directory).
4. Go to the left column: Setup > Options > [VNXF] Multi Prefix to configure the desired number of limits.
